DAB
Digital Audio Broadcasting is a broadcast technology used in the UK for digital radio. The UK was the first country to transmit a wide range of stations in the early 2000's. The benefit of DAB is improved sound quality in most cases and a greater choice of radio stations, particularly for rural locations. DAB also transmits additional data typically showing current radio show information or currently playing song etc.
