Aesthetic Integration

First impressions count

Sockets, switches and other wiring accessories are often viewed as a necessary evil. They can make all the difference to an interior design scheme. The challenge is often not only to select the right functionality a device yields but also ensuring that they look similar and fit in with the design scheme.

This can be a lot harder than it seems - 'white' between manufacturers and sometimes even the same manufacturers products are often slightly and noticeably different. You can often spend a long time mixing and matching and get 90% of the way there and then get let down by one or two products where you cannot find the same functionality or specification in another unit which matches.

We often have the same challenge when selecting solutions for our clients however when considered from the outset we can help by changing the nature of the problem. A basic lighting control system for example can free up some of the limitations on wall controls. The low voltage and flexible nature means you can often use switches or other contact closing mechanisms which you wouldn't be able to use with a mains supply.

We can also approach areas like temperature control differently - by using hidden thermometers and appropriate controllers behind the scenes we can remove more wall devices or give you other ways to control your heating for example.

Aesthetic integration is always at the forefront of our mind when working on client projects even if not specifically requested. For projects or parts of a project where it has an added importance we work with you to find the optimum solution.

Just a small selection of the manufacturers we work with...
