PTZ
Is an acronym for Pan, Tilt, Zoom. It refers to a CCTV camera with movement. For a "dome" style camera the PTZ mechanism is often built into the camera housing versus a traditional camera where the PTZ mechanism is located outside the camera housing, usually underneath with the camera located on top. This isn't always the case however with high-end PTZ cameras available which are fully encased in a solid housing along with the camera itself, bomb proof is also an option.
